Recipe By: Garth Cheese @the_stylish_chef
2 lbs chicken wings (split & tips removed)
1 tablespoon flour
salt & pepper
sesame seeds & scallions sliced for garnish.
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 clove garlic minced
3 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup Habanero
Preheat fryer to 325 degrees.
Combine all sauce ingredients in a small pan. Bring to a boil and let boil 4-5 minutes, set aside.
WASH (yes wash your damn chicken, not washing is nasty. I said what I said) wings and pat dry with a paper towel. Lightly season with salt and pepper and toss with flour. Spread out on prepared pan. Remove excess flour and slowly add in deep fryer oil, constantly shake fryer basket so all wings cook evenly.
Remove wings from the oven and place in a large bowl, toss with sauce. Place wings on a baking sheet and turn the oven up to 450. Bake additional 10-15 minutes or until sauce is thickened and browned.
Cool 3-4 minutes before serving.
