On Friday, July 10th Juice Wrld's posthumous album dropped and we learned very quickly that his fans go hard for him. We also learned that the album won't be the last that we hear from the late rapper.
In an XXL interview with Juice WRLD's label head Lil Bibby & his manager, Lil Bibby says that they're working on a documentary to be released "...sometime next year. Or, later this year." He also says that the new album, Legends Never Die, is a small portion of all the unreleased music by Juice WRLD. "I don't think the albums are gonna stop. It's plenty of music," said Bibby.
Even if they did stop, Juice WRLD and his team would be going out strong. Upon it's release, Legends Never Die broke Spotify's record for most streams in a day, with 91 million streams- so much so, that it caused Spotify to crash at one point! Along with that, the entire 21-track album debuted within Apple's Global top 25 and currently 8 tracks are in its top 10.
Following the Chicago rapper's death back in December which was ruled an accidental overdose, many fans clung to his music considering him to be the voice of a generation. It's also safe to say that his posthumous album was HIGHLY anticipated, now expected to debut at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart next week.
Unfortunately, Juice WRLD passed at only 21-years old with entire career ahead of him, but by the looks of it his legacy will live on. Listen to Legends Never Die, available everywhere. #RIPJuiceWRLD
