Indonesian designer Mety Choa started her career as a fashion designer in 2004 after graduating from Raffles La Salle Singapore.

She set up her luxury gown business in 2014 and later renamed her brand the Maison Met in 2017 with a nod to her brief period of study in Paris. Her fashion focuses in custom-made wedding dresses, evening gowns and cocktail dresses, each one uniquely crafted and renowned for its effortless feminine and sophisticated designs- Maison Met officially debuted at the 25th Couture Fashion Week New York in 2017.

The brand attracted not only the well-heeled Indonesian socialites but also a worldwide clientele from Japan, Singapore, England and USA. Her creations have been spotted at red carpets on international celebrities, from Kat Graham to Gigi Hadid to Gwen Stefani.

Mety Choa has the ability to infuse modernity and sensuality into her designs: her creations celebrate the female form and bring out the best in every wearer, this comes from to her globe trotting paste.
