Only a few hours before its release, YoungBoy Never Broke Again announced that he'd be dropping a new mixtape at 12 AM today. Fans were surprised being as though he has an album dropping this Friday as well with Rich the Kid, but I guess he had something to get off of his chest.
The project, titled Until I Return, is currently only available on YouTube but doesn't seem to stifle its success. It consists of 11 tracks, all getting a minimum of 100K views since its release this morning and his song "Chopper City" sitting at No.1 with 790K views.
Another reason this release comes as a surprise to fans is because just this past Sunday, NBA shared that he was in a dark place in his life, but fans don't need to worry. Perhaps, his emotional state is what triggered him to release a mixtape so close to his upcoming project.
This Friday, we can look forward to the drop of his joint project with Rich the Kid, Nobody Safe. Of its 15 tracks, "Bankroll" is already out with a new music video as well. NBA also just released a song with Nicki Minaj and Mike WiLL Made-It called, "What That Speed Bout?!"
Listen to Until I Return, available on YouTube.
