We have a lot to look forward to in music this week with new albums from some of rap's most mainstream artists. Between Big Sean dropping a single featuring Nip and the trolling between Durk and 6ix9ine, who knows which project is going to get the most attention.
About a week ago Big Sean announced his fifth studio album Detroit 2 and shortly after, he released a single from the album. "Deep Reverence" quickly began trending, at first because of it's feature from the late Nipsey Hustle, and secondly because Big Sean hints at losing a baby in one of its bars.
The Detroit rapper hasn't confirmed if he was referring to a miscarriage between him and Jhene but he did drop a track list! The album will have 21 songs with features from Travis Scott, Erykah Badu, Ty Dolla $ign, Jhene Aiko and more.

On Friday we can also expect an album from 6ix9ine and Lil Durk, who have been going at it on social media for days now. When the "GOOBA" rapper announced the release of his new album Tattle Tales in a video on IG of him in Chicago, Lil Durk felt a way about rats in his hood and there's been beef ever since.
While 6ix9ine continued to antagonize Durk by making mocking videos in the Chi, Durk went to his IG live to explain why he won't entertain him anymore. According to Durk, someone from 6ix9ine's camp attempted to pay him 3 million dollars to continue to troll him- hence the caption of his latest IG pic, "The trenches > 3million."
Naturally, 6ix9ine fired back saying that was cap and that Durk's camp tried to pay him 5 mill to help him promote his album. No one has dropped legitimate receipts but Lil TJay reposted Durk's live and said he also was given an offer by 6ix9ine's camp.
Messy, to say the least, but Lil Durk clipped the chit chat when he announced that he too will be dropping an album on Friday, titled The Voice. There's no pre-order available for his album yet, but there is for Tattle Tales; it looks like it'll be about 13 songs including "GOOBA."

I guess we'll just have to tune in to see who's rap skills will match their troll energy, but what album are y'all looking forward to hearing the most?
