She is truly a southern charm originally from Duplin County, North Carolina Cheylaina Fultz was born with big city girl dreams.
With her entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for acting and media Ms. Fultz was always destined for greatness. For the last 10 years she has planned weddings and events nationally and internationally. This led to the creation The Cheylaina Fultz Talk Show, a podcast that gives women the platform to share their stories of overcoming various hardships and evolving into amazing entrepreneurs and powerful leaders.
In 2009, Cheylaina graduated from North Carolina A&T State University where she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and obtained her degree in Journalism & Mass Communication making her the third generation of her family to graduate from an HBCU. In 2020, Cheylaina launched HBCU Legacy Fashion, a boutique of trendy HBCU kids’ clothes that extends the legacy of HBCUs and increases enrollment rates through her HBCU Legacy Scholarship fund. Because of HBCU Legacy Fashion, more black and brown students will become aware of the possibilities of attending college and will obtain debt free degrees from an HBCU.
Today, Cheylaina is a wife and mom of three residing in Columbus, Ohio. She enjoys acting, emceeing events, and challenging women to shake imposter syndrome and any obstacle they may face so they can confidently walk into their purpose. Thank you Ms. Fultz for walking in YOUR purpose and inspiring other young women to do the same.
